In Corsica, it is against the law to dive inside a Marine Reserve... though you can still dive on the outskirt! There, you can enjoy the thriving life that has developped in the protected zone. This is exactly the situation in Rivellata, just North of the Gulf of Calvi! This long rocky canyon, between 15 and 35m depth, allows you to do some long dives... The fauna is quite similar to the one inside the Reserve: groupers, snappers, seabreams, rock cods, damsels, and crayfish in the cracks. If you're lucky, you can observe the barracudas hunting! The flora is obviously very colourful and enchanting: red gorgonian fans, sponges and different species of anemones. It's an accessible site with a good reputation all over Corsica!
