At 12 meters deep, El Puertito dive site is suitable for beginners and snorkelers and is famous for its turtles! In fact, this site is home to a family of green turtles. They came to live here after a joint clean-up program with La Luguna Univeristy and Aqua Marina dive center where they cleaned out the invasive sea urchins from the seabed. The dive site has since been far more welcoming, especially to underwater photographers.
