URSUS

The URSUS is a shipwreck of an Italian tugboat that was in charge of towing a boat and its regiment to Albania. Unfortunately, on the 30th of January 1941, the URSUS encountered a English submarine that sent a torpedo. Direct hit! The tugboat sunk and the sailors who escaped died during a terrible storm before reaching land.

Today, the URSUS rests between 45 and 63 meters deep.

It was the first naval battle in the Adriatic during WWII.
