La Maddalena Pilastrino

This site is made out of two large stacks of rocks sitting on a sandy seabed, with expanses of posidonia  (short, stubby blades of seagrass) here and there. The rocks are covered with sponges, blue, yellow and red gorgonian fans, and a touch of orange with vast areas of parazoanthus.
