Petite Terre

Petite Terre, or 'Little Land', is made out of two islets: Terre de Haut et Terre de Bas, or 'High Ground' and 'Lower Ground'.

This tiny archipelago is surrounded by a fringing reef, stunningly rich in diverse marine life. Depending on the actual dive site you choose, you could see lemon sharks, schools of surgeonfish, trumpet fish, trevallies and French angelfish! There are 4 main dive sites:

  • Roche Merveileuse ('Wonderful Rock'): 20m max.
  • Roche Moyenne ('Middle Rock'): 18m
  • Roche a Gilles ('Gilles' Rock'): 15m
  • Passe a Canard ('Duck Passe'): 8m

All dives are done around Terre de Bas, since Terre de Haut is a Bird Reserve and diving there is forbidden
