Vardiola, the dive site, is located right down on the island of Vardiola! It is a massive red granite block nearby the spectacular coves of Piana (typically Mediterranean, those coves are called 'calanques'). Remarkable dive site thanks to an immense crack, 32m deep and 20m long! At the bottom of the crack, the flora is very lush, with abundant red coral feeding on the plankton which rides the current coming from the crack! This 'coral garden' shelters a few other species: crayfish, conger and moray eels, scorpionfish, groupers or corbfish. Quite impressive!
