Le Tombant de la Pointe au Sel or 'the Salt-head drop-off' is an underwater coral formation ranging from 25 to 70 meters depth. The huge drop-off starts around 25 meters, ends up at 71 meters, and is considered the best dive site in La Réunion! Go down along the cliff, keep your eyes out in the blue: the pelagics and other mega fauna come with the current, like schools of trevallies, tunas, barracudas... and if you're lucky, manta rays, sharks or whale-sharks! The stronger the current, the more pelagics, the more magical it gets!
