Carnatic wreck - Abu Nahas, Red Sea

The Carnatic is the magnificent wreck of a 19th century British freighter. She has been lying at a depth of 24 metres on the reef of Sha'ab Abu Nahas since 1869. 90 meters long, the wreck lies on a sandy bottom and can easily be explored from the outside. The site benefits from a visibility of 20 to 30 metres. There are giant moray eels hidden in the ship's carcass and the remains of bottles over which the fish swim.
