Menjangan National Park

Located to the north west of Bali, the island of Menjangan is one of the overall best diving areas around Bali. Also called 'Deer Island', Menjangan is at the heart of west Bali National Park and has some of the most protected coral reefs in the region. Rich and diverse in fauna and flora, it takes 30 minutes to get there and we've counted around 10 dive sites in calm and pristine waters! Check out the spectacular drop-offs (30 to 60m), covered in colourful soft coral; find out about all the coexisting species: giant gorgonian fans and hawkfish, barrel sponges and shrimps, but also angelfish, butterfly fish, anthias and gobies. If the conditions are right, you can spot sharks, trevallies and some big groupers! To the west of the island, a 150 year-old wooden wreck, the 'Anker Wreck', is resting 40m down... Try it out if you're an experienced diver with some deep dives under your (weight) belt!

Quite isolated, the island of Menjangan offers really good diving conditions year round and the fauna will never cease to impress you! Get in and enjoy... especially if you want to take some photos!
