Nemo 33 is an Aquatic Center purposefully built for divers in Brussels, Belgium. Its boasts the deepest swimming poolin the world with a depth of 33m! But thats not all - divers are kept warm throughout their training with a delightful 33’c water temperature! Offering a comfortable and secure environment for all divers, Nemo 33 is a world renowned location hosting divers from all over the world.
Designed and built by John Beernaerts, a civil engineer and diver for almost 40 years, Nemo 33 is the result of years of hard work. Today, with its eco-responsible design, the dive center can comfortably accommodate up to 50 people per hour! Efficient logistical organisation enables John to offer flexible planning options and a wide variety of courses and training. Nemo 33 is open 24 hours a day and 365 days a year! Divers can request to join classes or make changes late at night or even first thing in the morning. Rooms can also be reserved for groups, corporate events or parties.
With over 15 instructors of different nationalities working throughout the year, Nemo 33 offers a wide range of SSI courses including Discover Scuba Diving and snorkelling courses. The dive center also offers training with other organisations, all you need to do is ask! They are equipped with a bar and restaurant with port holes, directly overlooking the swimming pool! A unique way to enjoy your meal!
A true paradise for divers, Nemo 33 has indeed raised the bar in terms of specialised swimming pools. Fully equipped, the dive centre will soon be offering accommodation options for overnight stays. Soon to be tested and highly recommended by Team TribloO!
