Our opinion on DiveTime Zanzibar:
DiveTime Zanzibar dive center opened its doors in 2016 and is headed up by a team of 4 Hungarians. These longtime friends and passionate divers set their sights and dreams on this dive center, located on the coast of the island of Unguja, within Hotel La Madrugada in Makunduchi and they haven't looked back since!
Boasting long, white sandy beaches and turquoise waters, Zanzibar in the Indian Ocean is home to a diverse population of marine life, in particular within Menai Bay. Its really not hard to see why Team Hungary choose this place to settle down! With a barrier reef over 700km long, full of brilliant colours and vibrant biodiversity; dolphins are often attracted here and whales are common guests within these waters too. Whale watching can also be done within offshore waters between September and November. The dive center certainly has many interesting options for their guests and you won’t be disappointed!
Far from the hustle and bustle of the touristic activity in the west, here in the south east of the island you can truly be at peace and at one with the wonders of nature, on land as well as underwater. DiveTime are equipped with two dive boats with capacities of both 8 and 12 divers and with focus always on diver safety they offer Suunto dive computers for rent.
For those that don’t dive, snorkelling trips are available. Training wise - the dive center is offers both PADI as well as Hungarian training agency courses . They offer courses from Discover Scuba Diving up to Rescue Diver. Open year round with no fixed schedule, the dive center is flexible and always open to diver requests. A beautiful location within a beautiful environment makes Team TribloO want more!
