Our opinion on Deep Blue Cozumel dive center:

The dive center, Deep Blue Cozumel, on Cozumel Island in the Gulf of Mexico, has everything a young, dynamic center could offer! Located in the city center and managed by Deborah, a young Columbian who fell in love with the island and left her job as an architect in the US to come here and concentrate on diving! It’s a beautiful story that began 20 years ago. Today, the center employs 4 professional instructors and a PADI Divemaster who know the region’s dive sites like the back of their hands—and not to mention, who together speak several languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian and Japanese.

Deep Blue Cozumel owns 3 boats holding from 6-10 divers each. 5 dives are scheduled per day and there is something for everyone: day trips, two-tank dives, night dives, and Nitrox diving. PADI, NAUI, and SSI trainings are available and range from introductory level to Divemaster. Particular attention is paid to diver safety: diver groups are organized by level and never exceed 6 divers per instructor. Added bonus, each dive gear package includes a computer—quite an exception for the island! Because these measures are in place, the center is proud to report 0 accidents, ever!

Moreover, the center is happy to pick you up and drop you off by boat at your hotel at the end of each day. This is a luxury highly appreciated by the regulars who keep coming back to Deep Blue Cozumel each year.
