Our opinion on Lacadives dive center:

The dive centerLacadives is located in the extreme south of the Andaman Islands, at the heart of the Bay of Bengale (Indian Ocean), in an area called Chidiya Tapu. Famous for its beautiful sunsets, reserve forest and many birds, Chidiya Tapu is a wild landscape in a peaceful and isolated region. Its clear water are full of life and just beckons you to dip your fins. This is definitely an area for a dive center! Lacadives is housed in a bungalow close to the beach. The center is open from 6am -the wake-up call for its 3 instructors and 2 Divemasters- and remains open till late at night. Meet-ups begin at 7am for a tea: how better to make you feel at home? Lacadives aims to make each diver feel like one of the family! What’s more, don’t be surprised if you’re invited to join the team for dinner!

The center owns 3 boats, each with 8-6 seats, to take you out on 2 morning dives and an afternoon one with a return to the center for lunch between dives. Lacadives is a certified 5-star PADI dive center and offers a wide variety of diving courses from introductory dives to Divemaster. Two levels, beginner and advanced, of underwater photography are also offered as well as a highly developed Underwater Naturalist course in cooperation with the NGO Reef Watch India. Furthermore, divers are organized in small groups of 4 for better safety and comfort!

Being very attentive to clients’ needs, Lacadives, who is entirely geared up with ScubaPro, has a SUV that can take up to six people to and from their hotel. Upon request, they can also book nights and organize liveaboards around Indonesia, Maldives, and the Similan Islands.
