Our opinion on Eden Plongée Dive Center
The beautiful caves and arches of Port Luis in Guadeloupe have been enthralling divers for many years, with the older amongst them holding many stories of past adventures! Eden Plongee was brought to life by Alain, in 1999, a former military man who left the metropolis to become a dive instructor and after many a great adventure …….. opened his own dive center!
Eden Plongée is indeed a replica of Alain himself, dynamic, innovative, protective and endearing. The dive center was the first in the region to offer nitrox to their divers and works closely alongside the environmental association Longitude 181 Nature in protecting the local marine environment.
Truly passionate about marine biology, Alain has completed several training courses and he is full of knowledge and information to share! He is also responsible for the marine turtle sanctuary, where the nests are kept safe between the months of March and October. Alain will gladly organise an over night trip for you to the sanctuary.
Eden Plongée will happily show macro lovers every little creature to be found at Japanese Gardens or Trou a L’orage and for deep divers you’ll be shown the wonders of the Port Luis Wall and its fabulous corals. For everyone else. Alain will take you on a discovery of the Guadeloupe National Park!
If you’re looking for simplicity, kindness, relaxation and an incredible experience then look no further than Alain and his dive center Eden Plongée
