Our opinion on Corse Plongée Dive Center:
In 1989 in South Corsica, close to Ajaccio in the IsolellaPeninsula, a professional diver named Nicolas Capri opened one of the very first dive centers in the region: Corse Plongée. With over 25 years of experience in the dive industry, Nicolas has succeeded in building a strong team of competent, experienced and knowledgeable dive instructors; most of them are Corsican and return each season to Corse Plongée to share their love of the Mediterranean Sea with others.
Several generations of divers also return when the summer season comes, opening the way for new comers! They're drawn to the dive center through word of mouth and recommendation, excited for their very first Discover Scuba Diving experience at the well known Sette Navedive site, or the popular Death’s Head -or Tete de Mort-dive site for example! All divers are guaranteed to receive the same high quality customer service and are ensured personalized training, adapted specifically to their needs and requirements. Perhaps you are not a diver and just want to go out on the boat with your family? Corse Plongée will organize it for you!
Dive groups do not exceed 4 divers per instructor. They are grouped by certification level or experience to ensure an enjoyable dive for all. If you love deep diving, Corse Plongée and their team will organize a dive to Coral Cave, a beautiful deep dive full of many different types of sea urchins such as melon urchins, hat pin urchins and violet urchins! If you’re keen to do many dives without feeling exhausted why not join an Enriched Air Nitrox course and enjoy extended bottom time and longer repetitive dive time?
Whether you are diving alone, with family or with a group of 25 divers, Corse Plongée will ensure that you are always delivered what you were promised. The dive boat will always depart and the logistics will be taken care of: you just need to show up ready to dive!
In 2015 Nicolas decided to retire, and Dominique, a young, energetic archeological diver, has taken charge, ensuring the continued success of this great dive center, known throughout the country for its professionalism, personalized and friendly service for generations of divers. What more could you ask for?
