Our opinion on Orange Shark H2O Dive Center:
Located within the sublime Ramla Bay Resort in Marfa on the island of Malta, Orange Shark H20 Dive Center offers everything you could possibly need for a dream diving trip. Perfectly located in front of Comino and Gozo and not far from the ferry terminal, you can easily travel from one island to the next while based in the comfort of the resort!
Orange Sharkdive center is young although not inexperienced and it clearly shows! The equipment is new, the boat belongs to the dive center (which is not always the case in Gozo or Malta) and the team has limitless energy! Max, an Italian, passionate about diving, decided to change his life three years ago along with his wife Paula. Accustomed to diving in difficult conditions in lakes and rivers, Max choose to open his own dive center in Malta and enjoy all that the Mediterranean has to offer. The diving conditions here are ideal, with 40m visibility the water is crystal clear and above all this area is famous for its caves, accessible even for beginners.
Malta is also a wreck diving paradise for all ages and tastes! World War I and II wrecks sunk during combat or purposefully sunk for diver exploration are to be found all around the island and in particular in the Cirkewwa Bay really close by! There are over 20 wrecks between 12 and 80m deep waiting for lovers of the stories and History that these wrecks hold. The famous wreck ‘The Polynesien’ is a treat for the eyes, full of all kinds of marine life such as large groupers, barracudas and moray eels.
Do you want to get certified or improve your diving skills? Orange Shark offers a full range of PADI courses form Discover Scuba Diving and the Open Water Course through to Divemaster and Instructor (IDC) training. If you want try wreck diving for longer with no bubbles then why not try rebreather diving or Tec diving? And why not try something really different and exciting, like diving with a DPV (underwater scooter) and glide around effortlessly on a large wreck or long dive site!
Orange Shark Dive Center is located on the beach and the dive sites are easily accessible from the waters edge. The dive team are friendly and really caring for their guests. They will ensure you have a fantastic days diving and a wonderful vacation!
