- Diving in the passe: every morning, Abalone organises a dive in the Passe Bateau (boat 'Passe'), the Passe Sada (boat 'Sada') or the Passe Boueni (boat 'Boueni'). All 3 passes have at least 4 mind-blowing dive sites, some with nice drop-offs and big gorgonian fans.
- High probability to spot a few sharks and other pelagics.
Our opinion on Abalone Plongee Dive Centre, Mayotte:
Close your eyes... imagine a long golden beach, coconut trees lazily swinging from side-to-side over tin roofs, turtles and dolphins swiming in the turquoise sea... Paradise! Well this paradise actually exists: at Abalone Plongee!
Located at the Southern tip of Grande Terre ('Big Land'), Abalone Plongee offers a refreshing approach to diving: simple, friendly and off-the-beaten-track. Safety comes first obviously but you can feel a real focus on pleasure and fun! You will start your day off with a good coffee and you will finish it with a little drink... Lunches are often in the form of snacks, taken all together.
The SCUBA gear is serviced by specialists regularly, the dive tanks very recent and last but not least, all the briefings are oriented towards preserving the environment! The area is truly stunning, it is definitely worth it.
What else? Abalone Plongee has a lot of returning customers... that says it all! Have some great dives!
