Our opinion on Turtle Bay Dive Resort:
The Turtle Bay Dive Resort in Cebu in the Philippines is more than a simple “dive resort”; it's also the story of a family, a love, and sharing. Basically, for a dive to be a success, you need certain things in place, and Turtle Bay has them all.
First, the seabed and its fauna must be extraordinary, unique, and impressive. With its 18 dive sites, Moalboal is all three! As for the world of ‘big’, they’ve got whale-sharks on the dive site off Panagsama Beach. If you’re looking for original and colorful, go to Pescador Island to check out the gobies with crab eyes, sardine-eating tuna, demon stingers, coral garden, and caves with the Cathedral. You can let yourself drift dive on Dolphin House or deepdive on Copton Point.
Second, comfort must be a priority. Turtle Bay Dive Resort has just what you need. The dive center is in a fully accommodated resort, conceived by and dedicated to divers. In this way, there is no paradise-island beach but a dock that provides direct and fast access to the dive boats. There aren’t any gigantic boats, just little zodiacs for small groups. There also aren’t any luxury suites, but there is a pool to cool down after your dives. Here, they have quality dive gear to loan. Finally, you won’t find a restaurant with extended hours, only group barbecues after night dives.
Third, for a great dive, you need great dive instructors. Turtle Bay Dive Resort has once again answered your prayers. In fact, spotting a ghost fish or a pygmy seahorse has never seemed so simple when you’re with Turtle Bay’s two Divemasters. Try your luck without them and you’ll understand what we’re talking about. Greatness!
So, there you have it! If your idea of vacation is diving, re-diving, re-re-diving, and basically, doing nothing but good, quality dives, Turtle Bay Dive Resort is definitely what you’re looking for! All you had to do was ask.
