Our opinion of Blue Planet Divers dive center:
The dive center, Blue Planet Divers, in Koh Lanta, Thailand was open in 2001 by a Frenchman and although it’s 70% Francophone, the staff is multicultural and multilingual!
The super advantage of this center? It has two boats that divers can go off on long and beautiful diving days with. And, what’s more, a third will be delivered in October 2016—a thing that really sets them apart from the local dive centers. Another big plus, the center was completely refurbished in 2015 and puts a particular emphasis on the customer experience. For example, they take full responsibility to pick up their divers at the airport and get them to their reserved beach guesthouse.
As for diving, the Blue Planet Divers dive center has the good fortune to be located on Koh Lanta Island, in an area renowned for its exceptional underwater visibility (20-25 meters) and its rich flora and fauna. Among the center’s regular dives are Koo Haa, Hin Daeng and Hin Muang Islands, Kho Phi Phi, Bida Islands, the King Cruiser shipwreck, and Shark Point. Basically, nothing but awesomeness!
Divers of all levels can benefit and in season, we can regularly see whale sharks, manta rays, blacktip reef sharks, zebra sharks, and large schools of barracudas. On the macro side, there are nudibranchs, shrimp, and other pipefish that will hold you spellbound. Attention, underwater photographers, don’t forget your camera!
This is a dive center that places quality of service, safety, and the well-being of its divers on its list of priorities. Fast comfortable boats and rich dive sites make this dive center perfect for beautiful experiences diving around Koh Lanta all day. We highly recommend Blue Planet Divers for your diving trips in Thailand!
