Diving the South of Corsica - Porto Vecchio & Bonifacio - France

In the Gulf of Saint Cyprien, within the Lecci region on the south eastern side of the island of Corsica, awaits incredible diving among the Cerbicales Island Natural Reserve and the Lavezzi group of islands.

Off the coast of Porto Vecchio what seems to be of particular interest in this region are the huge spiraling rocks, some of which go down to 50m. Offering dramatic scenery, fish-filled canyons, arches and shipwrecks this is one of the most sought after diving spots in Corsica!

Some of the best dive sites of this region are the Lavezzi Isles, Danger du Toro, Grouper City, home to a habitat of large brown groupers, and the Pecorella shipwreck. Those are just a few of the great dives that can be found here!

On the straights between the southernmost tip of Corsica and the italian island of Sardinia an internationally protected Marine Reserve known as Bouches de Bonifacio sports great diving. The region also offers nice snorkeling spots and Europe’s most beautiful beaches.
