Diving Komodo

It always is difficult to tell which of your dives are the best ones... Once you've dived Komodo National Park, the answer will come out loud and clear. That's a promise.

Komodo and its neighbouring islands, like Rinca, are located to the East of Bali and Lombok, straight South from Sulawesi archipelago. The National Park sits between two oceans, Indian and Pacific, so the marine environment is not only booming with a never-seen-before amount of life but also prone to currents so strong and unpredictable they seem to be coming from another world! Komodo itself is an island recognized as a World Heritage site by UNESCO, where no one is allowed to stay overnight. As a matter of fact some mythical creatures call it home... Komodo Dragons! Unfortunately you won't find neither princesses nor castles, but a preserved ecosystem that allow those out-of-time animals to carry on with their lives undisturbed.

Your diving adventure of a lifetime in this semi desertic place starts on the island of Flores, from the town of Labuan Bajo. The best dive sites are quite far from town so you'd better plan your trip on a diving liveaboard boat... unless you chose to use a SpeedBoat for the day!

Once you're on-site, the choice is yours: big stuff, small, even very small animals, diversity oozing out of every corners, colours, beautiful wooden boats all around, this unshakable feeling that you indeed are in the most beautiful place on Earth... the list goes on endlessly! Diving Komodo won't leave you indifferent, to say the least. From then on you'll only think about one thing: coming back as soon as possible and stay there for as long as possible. That's a promise.
