Diving in Indonesia

The indonesian archipelago is the world’s biggest, with a total of 13 466 islands. Which basically makes it the best country for scuba divers ! Situated at the heart of the Indian Ocean, this scattered country has many incredible dive sites. Surrounded by crystal waters, the islands are a true scuba diving paradise !

Bali is the most famous island. The beauty of its beaches and shores attract every year many tourists. The ocean floor harbours a surprisingly rich diversity : lots of sea turtles, manta rays,grey sharks, and sun fishes can be found easily there !

Lombok and the Gili Islands are true gems : until recently, the islands were off tourist sight but their vibrant nature life have made them worldy famous !

To the East, Komodo Island is a paradise for divers ! Although it is forbidden for people to stay overnight, this world Heritage UNESCO site can be visited by boat, on a liveabord. Raja Ampat is also a top-notch destination and every diver would wish to cross it on its buscket list !

An other star of the region is Sulawesi island. With its numerous coral reefs, Sulawesi island is kwown as one of the best spot for underwater photography.

At last, Alor, situated at the far south of Indonesia. Unscathed by mass tourism, this group of volcanic islands attracts many interesting species, hidden in the numerous canyons and tunnels. Aloris espacially famous for its world-class muck diving.
