With a coastline over 3420 km long, France has 9 Marine Parks, with 6 on its european territory, which will ensure every scuba diver an unforgettable experience ! Indeed, the diversity of its underwater landscapes, the history of its coastline and the quality of the dive centers have made of France a unique diving region !

One of the most beautiful place to dive in France is undoubtedly Corsica. With warm and transparent waters, the « Isle of Beauty » is a pristine and well-preserved patch of earth at the heart of the Mediterranean sea. The marine reserve of La Scandola is a true gem and the site has been listed in 1975 on the World Heritage UNESCO list.

On the opposite shore, on the French Riviera, the dive spots are very similar to Corsica with dramatic rugged landscapes and high cliffs, that, underneath the water surface, harbour a diverse marine life. But the region is especially famous for its true diving culture. This is where the first scuba diving gear was tested and improved. There is hence plenty of fascinating dive sites : wrecks, walls, pinnacles… Suitable for all divers !

The west coast offers beautiful dives as well. In the Bordeaux region, nearby the « Bassin d’Arcachon », amazing ship wrecks await the more seasonned divers. But Britanny is the spot for wreck-enthusiasts : due to its long history, the coast harbours more than 400 wrecks !

France is definitely a place where divers can enjoy themselves ! But what a scuba diver to do when the hollidays are over ? Practice for the next trip ! This is exactly how parisian dive centers roll. Indeed, Paris offers an amazing array of pools, pits and open quarries to learn new skills.
