Diving in Fuerteventura - Canary islands - Spain

One of the most sought after diving spots in Europe, Fuerteventura island is a hugely popular vacation destination due to its white sandy beaches and year round warm climate. The island is full of cliffs and sheltered coves and watersports here are a plenty!

Fuerteventura is well known for its protected Natural Reserve Isla de Lobos (Wolf Island) which has over 20 great dive sites. This is undoubtedly the most varied and most spectacular area of the Canary Islands. The waters are crystal clear with visibility from 20-30m and water temperature is a cool 19’c in winter months and rises to 24’c during summer months.

The underwater landscapes are ravishing with canyons, walls, volcanic structures and sandy plateaus. Marine life is in abundance and includes Atlantic and yellow fin jacks, parrotfish, barracudas and many more. The East coast of the island including Corralejo and Castillo Caleta de Fuste is where most of the top dive centers can be found and they offer a wide range of professional diving services.
